Instead of camping out at the polls like my more eager classmates, i casually arose this morning, made a little breakfast and headed to the polls around 10:45. Surprisingly the line was really short, so not much drama there but the affect was just the same. I guess i didnt need crazy long lines and agressive campaigners, the importance of this event hit me just the same as someone in a larger city, with more action at the polls.

After 20 minutes I was in and out and it’s like i’ve been holding my breath ever since.

The tone of our country on this night is one that won’t ever be felt again. The saying goes,” this is just but one moment in time.” This is more than a moment. This will shape the our country forever and finally, on election day, the country can see that. The world can see that.

This election might be the first that’s not about you and me. It’s about us.
